  • What is Dickey's Barbecue PIT CREW?

    The Pit Crew is primarily responsible for delivering GREAT Energy, Speed, and Barbecue. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit strives to deliver great food and great service to every guest every single time. We are creating an authentic, memorable, and appetizing barbecue experience for each guest.

    What will you do?

    As a Pit Crew member, your role includes but is not limited to cashier, utility, block assist, and drive-thru operations. The Pit Crew member must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain all of Dickey’s policies and procedures, including cooking, cleaning, and interacting with our guests.

    Our commitment to customer service, cleanliness and serving fresh, quality food is what sets us apart from our competitors. Above all else, our guests are the priority, we dictate their experience, and they pay us to be here.

    Dickey's Barbecue Pit is a true American success story. In 1941, WWI veteran Travis Dickey opened the first Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Dallas, Texas. Travis was a true Texas character blessed with the gift of gab and the love of authentic, slow-smoked barbecue. In the beginning, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit was truly a family operation, with Travis working the block and Miss Ollie Dickey serving sandwiches. Space on the restaurant sign was rented out to help pay the start-up costs for the restaurant, and the menu was limited to beef brisket, pit hams, barbecue beans, potato chips, beer, bottled milk, and sodas.

    Today, Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is the largest barbecue franchise in the country and one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains. Since its inception, Dickey’s has captivated millions across 44 states with its commitment to quality and tradition. The LaGrange location will continue this legacy, featuring eight signature slow-smoked meats, smoked on-site over hickory wood, and 12 homestyle sides.
